Comprehensive urine and blood test details
Urinalysis
Used to detect possible disorders in the urinary tract, including infections, kidney disease, and diabetes.
Full blood count
Provides important information about the kinds and numbers of cells in the blood: red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Abnormalities in any of these types of cells can indicate the presence of important medical disorders.
Kidney Function
Checks how well the kidney is filtering the blood.
Liver Function
Liver function tests check the levels of certain enzymes and proteins in your blood. Levels that are higher or lower than usual can mean liver problems.
Bone health
A bone profile test analyses the proteins, minerals, and enzymes present in your bones. These nutrients support healthy bone structure and development.
Diabetes
This profile includes glycated haemoglobin to indicate how well-controlled your blood sugar levels have been over the past 3 months and the direct blood glucose level tells us how high or low your blood sugar level is on the day of the blood test
Lipid profile
A cholesterol (or lipid profile) blood test looks at the levels of cholesterol and other fats in your blood.
Iron status
Checks how much iron is in your blood. Iron is a mineral that the body needs for growth and development. Your body uses iron to make haemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells
Inflammatory marker
Checks inflammation in the body, caused by many diseases. This can include infections, auto-immune conditions, and cancers.
Vitamin D
This test measures your vitamin D levels. Vitamin D helps absorb calcium in your gut and maintains your calcium and phosphate levels.
Thyroid function
This test looks at levels of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and thyroxine (T4) in the blood. A high level of TSH and a low level of T4 in the blood could mean you have an underactive thyroid.
Ovarian cancer test
CA 125 is used to detect or monitor ovarian cancer.
Testosterone
Measures testosterone levels in the blood. This test can help identify the cause of erectile dysfunction, infertility, premature or delayed puberty.
Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA)
Used to detect or monitor prostate cancer.
