Annual Leave

A healthy work-life balance is essential, and so all of our permanent colleagues are entitled to a generous 25 days’ annual leave plus 8 statutory public holidays. Annual leave is calculated on a pro-rata basis for part time colleagues.

Enhanced Maternity & Adoption Pay

At One Healthcare, we understand the importance of family and we want to support you as you start or expand your own. One Healthcare offers up to 52 weeks’ maternity and adoption leave for eligible employees. This is paid in full for the first 8 weeks plus 12 weeks at half pay. 

For paternity leave, we offer 2 weeks’ full pay.

As an employee of One Healthcare, we can offer your friends and families a 15% discount when either you or they are treated in one of our healthcare facilities.

Occupational Health

Occupational Health (OH) is concerned with your health, safety and wellbeing whilst at work, including the effects of work on your health and making sure you are fit for the work you do. Our specialist OH team plays a significant role in protecting you from work related ill health and supporting you with health issues, by offering competent and professional advice.

Refer a Friend Incentive

Spread the word about joining our team and take advantage of our Employee Referral Scheme. If the recommendation leads directly to employment you could receive up to £1,500 through your salary (T&Cs apply).

Staff Restaurant & Coffee Lounge

We provide an excellent on-site restaurant where you can grab a healthy snack or a wholesome meal at a reasonable price. We also provide free tea and coffee, or you can treat yourself to a tasty drink or snack from our coffee lounge at a subsidised rate.

Wellbeing & Mental Health Support

Contributory Pension Scheme

We automatically enrol all eligible employees into the One Healthcare Partners Ltd Pension Plan, which provides a tax efficient way of saving towards retirement. The plan administrator is Aegon, and admission is available to all employees. Offering up to 5% matched contributions, we regard our pension plan as a key part of our benefits package.

Employee Assistance Programme

Your Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is a free, confidential and independent resource to help you balance your work, family and personal life. Available 24/7, by phone, e-mail or online, the service provides information, resources, guidance and counselling on any of the challenges that life may bring.

Eye Care Contribution

We offer an eye care contribution to all colleagues who use display screen equipment on a regular basis. Up to £20 towards your eye test plus a further £55 off any glasses you buy.

Flexible Working Patterns

Because we take work-life balance seriously, we provide a variety of working hours, including full-time, part-time and job sharing.

We recognise that remote or hybrid working has a host of benefits for our colleagues and our business from greater flexibility, an improved work-life balance to greater productivity. We are happy to discuss remote working opportunities, where appropriate.

Life Assurance

In the event of your death, Life Assurance pays out a lump sum of cash, equivalent to 3 times your basic annual salary, to a nominated beneficiary (for permanent colleagues). Life Assurance provides peace of mind if the unthinkable happens, easing any financial worries for your family or partner at such a difficult time.

Private Medical Insurance

All permanent employees are eligible to join the AXA Private Healthcare plan. It is provided by One Healthcare, free of charge and includes professional helplines and access to hospitals across the UK, to give you peace of mind that you can access prompt treatment in the event of an illness or injury. You are welcome to add family members to the plan (this additional cost would be deducted from your salary each month).

Arranged by our local Staff Social Committee, we offer various free or subsided staff events throughout the year, weather and other conditions permitting.
