Arriving at the hospitalWe know we only have one chance to make a good first impression, so whether it’s our free onsite parking or the friendly smile from the receptionist, we do everything we can to give you the kind of individual attention you deserve. You’ll be asked to complete a registration form to ensure we have all the right information. You’ll need details of your insurer authorisation codes (if relevant) and your GP details. We will also take a swipe of your debit/credit card so that you can pay for any outpatient treatment or sundry items not covered by your insurance policy or self-pay package.

We know your most important concern is the quality of care that you receive. That’s why we’ve recruited some of Kent’s leading consultants who are experts in their specialist fields. By bringing together excellent clinical leadership and empowering our surgeons, physicians and clinicians, we have created an environment at One Ashford, where you can be sure of the best possible care.
We have created our dedicated Day Case Unit which carries out a wide variety of minor surgery and other clinical procedures, minimising your time in hospital. When you arrive, you will be welcomed into your own individual space. Once your procedure is completed you can rest a while in your room before you are ready to go home.
We paid special attention when designing our 20 in-patient en-suite bedrooms to ensure you have the best environment for your recovery. Each bedroom is furnished to a high standard with an en-suite walk-in shower room, so that you can get the privacy you need.
We can provide locally-sourced, freshly prepared meals cooked on-site by a dedicated team of chefs with a menu designed by our talented chefs, to meet all dietary requirements.
At One Ashford Hospital, patient feedback matters to us. Every patient is asked to complete a short questionnaire letting us know what your experience with us was like.
We review the feedback each month and follow-up actions are introduced and implemented in order to improve your experience. In December 2018, 99% of patients said they would recommend Ashford to friends and family.
