Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder Surgeon, Mr Jai Relwani
Mr Jai Relwani is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at One Ashford Hospital who specialises in the treatment of shoulder and elbow surgery, particular keyhole reconstructions and trauma surgery.
Mr Relwani qualified in 1995 and underwent his postgraduate orthopaedic training on the Guy’s and St Thomas rotation in London. He then completed the prestigious Reading Shoulder Fellowship programme (2007-2008), following which he was appointed to the position of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust in Ashford and Canterbury, Kent. He was the recipient of the prestigious North American Travelling Fellowship in 2008-09, granted by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society. He also has a Lower Limb Fellowship to his credit.
Mr Relwani teaches as faculty for advanced keyhole surgery and joint replacement surgery. He has several publications in peer reviewed journals and text books, and designed and performed the first ever computer-assisted shoulder replacement.
