Clinical Audiologist & Hearing Aid Dispenser

Mrs Bateson qualified as a Clinical Audiologist from Charing Cross Hospital and UCL in 1991 and worked in the NHS in Hertfordshire and Essex, becoming Head of Service with the Princess Alexandra NHS Trust in 1994 before moving to East & North Herts NHS Trust and Addenbrookes Hospital as Chief Clinical Audiologist. Her passion for excellence in patient care has been her primary driving force in her work which encouraged her to start her own private practice, The Hearing Practice. She was delighted and very honoured to have recently been awarded the “Best Audiology Clinic in Hertfordshire 2019” Award and “Best Tinnitus Specialist in Hertfordshire 2019” Award for her private practice. Mrs Bateson is also an Ambassador for the British Tinnitus Association and runs three free local Tinnitus Support Groups across Hertfordshire.

Mrs Bateson lives in a village outside Hitchin with her family and a very cheeky rescue dog. She enjoys the countryside, the gym and cooking and is a keen England and Ireland rugby supporter.
