Mr Tim Waters

Mr Tim Waters is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in hips and knees. He received specialist orthopaedic training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore and subsequently spent a year in Australia on the prestigious Sydney Hip and Knee Surgeons’ international fellowship.

He was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust in 2008 where he was Clinical Director 2014-2017.

His practice focuses on complex orthopaedic surgery. He receives referrals from colleagues and consultants from other hospitals for the management of difficult cases, particularly problems with previous hip and knee replacement surgery. He has received seven clinical excellence awards.

Mr Tim Waters takes a holistic approach to his practice and ensures he takes the time to explain things clearly in easy-to-understand terms and allows plenty of time for patients to ask questions and discuss concerns. This allows patients to make the best treatment decisions possible.

The (very) little free time he has is spent with his family, keeping fit, collecting guitars and playing music.
