Autism Diagnostic Assessment, ADHD assessment and medical management
Complex neurodevelopmetal and neurodisability- motor disorders , general developmental delay, dyspraxia, genetic and neurological conditions leading to neurodevelopmental issues;
Epilepsy- diagnosis and management; Sleep difficulties in children with ASD and developmental delay.
General Paediatrics- diagnosis and management of common childhood pathologies, eg. feeding difficulties, constipation, headache, failure to thrive etc.

Dr Sarkar sees young patients from birth onwards.
I am a NHS Consultant in East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, specialising in Paediatrics with subspecialty in Community Child Health (Neurodevelopment Paediatrics).
This is my 7th year as a Consultant, I thoroughly enjoy working with children and their families, I often also liase with schools and other allied health professionals to ensure that the child has the best journey in attaining physical and emotional wellbeing , by ensuring that their and medical and neurodevelopmental needs are met.
I am also the the Designated Officer for Special Educational Needs for my employing NHS trust, providing medical advise for children with Special Educational Needs to the Local Educational Authority . I am also the lead for Children with Downs Syndrome in my capacity as a Consultant in my Department.
I have been involved in research being a member of the group in Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health that was responsible for publishing Guidelines for management of Childhood stroke in May 2018.Other Research Interest- Epilepsy, Autism.
