Dr Vishen Ramkisson completed his hospital training at East Surrey Hospital before becoming on a GP partner in Stevenage for almost 10years. In 2017 he was appointed Senior Clinical Lead at NHS Digital and has clinically led a number of national IT programmes including the National Covid-19 Vaccinations Programme, e-Referrals service (eRS), Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS) and many more. He is also NHS England Regional Clinical Advisor for Urgent and Emergency Care and hods senior clinical lead roles at both East & North Herts CCG and Bedfordshire, Luton & Milton Keynes (BLMK) Commissioning Collaboratives.

In 2017 he was awarded Founding Fellowship in the Faculty of Clinical Informatics (FFCI) for his contribution to national IT programmes.

He is a formally accredited GP with Special Interest in Vasectomy (GPwSI) and has been offering the no-scalpel vasectomy procedure in Hertfordshire for over 10 years now.
