Professional Profile
Chris began surgical training in 2001 in London. He subsequently trained within the South London Orthopaedic Training Program where he discovered his passion for specialist hand and wrist surgery.
In 2013 he spent a year on a specialist hand fellowship with world renowned surgeon Mark Ross at the Brisbane Upper Limb Institute. Here he gained specialist experience managing complex upper limb conditions including microsurgery.
He is a full time NHS consultant residing at the William Harvey and Canterbury Hospitals where he delivers the Hand service to the local populations.
Personal Profile
Chris keeps fit with cycling and running regularly. This is often now with his 2 children and dog who join him. Aside from this he is an avid cook and truly enjoys an evening of great food and drink.

Research Interests
Chris has always been involved in up to date practice of medicine. He has published internationally and co-authored books. Currently he is an investigator for a clinical trial within the Trust assessing effectiveness of treatment for hand arthritis.
