After qualifying in Cardiff in 1985, Mr Housden carried out his surgical training across London and the UK, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, and undertook Fellowships in hip and knee surgery in Exeter and Melbourne, Australia.

 

He was appointed as an NHS Orthopaedic Consultant in East Kent in 1995 and for nearly ten yeas has been a training director for orthopaedic surgery across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
