Dr Baghai-Ravary is a Chest Physician with a broad range of subspecialty experience.  He delivers Respiratory Education, Training and Updates for GPs, junior doctors and medical students.  As a Guardian of Safe Working, he has ensured that junior doctors are able to deliver safe patient care by supporting them at work, ensuring professional development. 

 

He is a current examiner in the Practical Assessment of Clinical Examination Skills (PACES) for the Royal College of Physicians (London), Lead and Trainer in Endobronchial Ultrasound with Transbronchial Needle Aspiration (EBUS-TBNA), a service he repatriated to East Kent from London.  EBUS-TBNA is a technique used to accurately stage the extent of lung cancer and other lung diseases, by analysing cells from lymph nodes in the chest.
