Acupuncture has been used, predominantly in China, for over 4000 years to help relieve pain, promote healing and restore the body’s natural balance.

Acupuncture is used in western medicine by physiotherapists predominantly to help modulate pain, increasing the body’s natural analgesic response via the release of chemicals and endorphins.

It can also be used to encourage tissue healing and as an adjunct therapy to enable participation in exercise rehabilitation.
Ask your therapist if acupuncture may benefit you.
