One Ashford raised a whopping £1,200 for Comic Relief this year. Not only did we have our now famous Marryoke video ‘The One and Only’ shot (endorsed by Chesney Hawkes himself), but we also made it onto the BBC! Comic Relief were also so impressed that they are using our story to help inspire others to fund raise.

The day went down really well, and donations were made from our ‘Cycle to Hatfield’ challenge, which was completed in 4 hours. We also had a cake sale, a raffle and a ‘Guess the Baby’ competition.
Although it was a lot of fun, it was also important for us to remind staff and patients alike the reason why we were fundraising, and highlight the need to raise money to help those in less fortunate than us, both in the UK and around the world.
