Chondroplaty (knee cartilage damage repair)
Chondroplasty is a surgical procedure to remove damaged or rough areas of cartilage in your knee joint. It enables smoother joint movement and enhances healthy cartilage growth.
It can be a standalone procedure or performed whilst your surgeon is examining your knee during a knee arthroscopy (key hole).
The damage to your cartilage may have been caused through general “wear and tear” or as the result of a knee injury.
You can use your private medical insurance or pay for your Chondroplaty (knee cartilage damage repair) treatment. We offer competitive, fixed price packages as well as the ability to spread your cost with the option of 0% finance. If you are using your health insurance please do contact your insurer first for approval and let them know you’d like to be treated at either the One Ashford Hospital or One Hatfield Hospital.
