Dr Nisha Ramkumar is a Consultant Paediatrician with a special interest in paediatric gastroenterology and food allergies. She covers general paediatrics, as well as paediatric gastroenterology, and offers skin prick testing, interpretation and advice.
Food allergies are becoming more common in the UK and are a cause of particular concern in young children. At this webinar, Dr Ramkumar will talk through some of the most common food allergies in young children: cow’s milk, eggs, wheat and gluten. She will explain the difference between allergies and intolerances and will cover allergy indicators, sensitisation, managing allergies and allergy testing.
Dr Ramkumar’s talk will be 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes for questions.
The webinar will be via Zoom. When you join the webinar you will need to provide your name and email so we know who joined us, but the webinar will allow you to attend and ask questions anonymously.
