Join One Ashford Hospital Consultant Urological Surgeon Mr Ben Eddy on Tuesday 29th March for an update on prostate cancer, including imaging diagnostics and up-to-date advances in treatment.
Mr Eddy will look at red flags and how COVID has seen a rapid deterioration of referrals in prostate cancer. He will be looking at the national push on identifying at risk men and how to relay the importance of them being seen as soon as possible in primary care.
He will also give an up-to-date talk on new rapid access diagnostic pathways, imaging modalities and need targeted biopsy techniques, along with the changes in the prostate cancer landscape over the last 5 years.
This is an interactive learning session and we encourage you to ask questions throughout the session. You are welcome to bring your own case studies for discussion.
The event will be held virtually, from 7:00pm – 8:00pm on Tuesday 29th March and you will be sent an invite with joining instructions 24 hours prior to the event. Please note you are required to use the Zoom joining instructions as you cannot join directly through Eventbrite.
Bookings will close at 1pm on Monday 28th March.
Following the event, a link from Survey Monkey will be sent to you where we would appreciate your feedback. You will receive your certificate and lecture slides (if permitted by the Consultant). Please allow 2 working days for the link to arrive, with your certificate issued up to 7 working days following this. We will not be able to answer any queries before this time.
