Join One Ashford Hospital Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons Mr Jai Relwani and Mr Chris James on the morning of Saturday 27th February for an informative virtual educational talk on upper limb conditions. Discussions will be based around shoulder pain and small joint arthritis.
Shoulder Pain
Mr Jai Relwani, Consultant Orthopaedic Shoulder and Elbow surgeon will be discussing the clinical examination and differential diagnosis of shoulder pain, along with the principles of management.
Small Joint Arthritis
Mr Chris James, Consultant Orthopaedic Hand and Wrist surgeon will be discussing small joint arthritis and how it can cause crippling pain and disability for patients, affecting simple daily tasks.
This topic will outline treatment rationales including conservative treatments, hand therapy injections and up-to-date surgical concepts, including joint replacement surgery.
Our aim is to provide an interactive learning experience, and we encourage you to engage in debate with Mr Relwani, Mr James and your peers. You are invited to bring your own case studies for discussion.
The event will be held virtually, from 9:00am – 11:00am on Saturday 27th February, and you will be sent an invite with joining instructions after you have reserved your place. Please be aware that bookings will close at 11am on Friday 26th February.
