Orthopaedics: Lower Limb Conditions (CPD)

Join One Ashford Hospital Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons Mr Bal Dhinsa and Mr Raman Thakur on the morning of Saturday 12th June for an informative virtual educational talk on lower limb conditions.  Discussions will be based around bunions and the lesser toes, and the management of the painful knee.

 


Bunions and the Lesser Toes

Mr Bal Dhinsa, Consultant Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon will be discussing bunions and the lesser toes.

 

Hallux valgus (Bunions) can have a range of symptoms from intermittent swelling to significant deformity. This may be associated with problems in the small toes. In this event Mr Dhinsa will discuss common causes, presentations and management options of bunions and the deformity of the lesser toes.


Management of the Painful Knee in the Community

Mr Raman Thakur, Consultant Orthopaedic Hip and Knee Surgeon will be talking on the management of painful knees, common causes and management of the condition, including injection technique.

 


Our aim is to provide an interactive learning experience, and we encourage you to engage in debate with Mr Dhinsa, Mr Thakur and your peers.  You are invited to bring your own case studies for discussion.  

 

The event will be held virtually, from 9:00am – 11:00am on Saturday 12th June, and you will be sent an invite with joining instructions after you have reserved your place.  Please be aware that bookings will close at 1pm on Friday 11th June.
