Practical Learning on the Management of Bowel Symptoms

12th October 2019 One Ashford Hospital

Bowel habits vary from person to person and varying symptoms are often witnessed in primary care.  Sudden changes are often harmless, but they can indicate an underlying health condition, such as irritable bowel syndrome or inflammatory bowel disease.

One Ashford Hospital is holding a practical learning seminar on Saturday 12th October 19 on the Management of Bowel Symptoms.  Consultant General Surgeon, Mr Pradeep Basnyat will be covering the following topics:

  • Medical history of changes in bowel habits, including frequency and consistency of stools

  • Performing clinical examinations
