Dr Hendricks is a consultant at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children after having been a lead consultant for the Royal Free London Hospitals and University College London Hospitals (Royal National Ear Nose and Throat Hospital) for over 16 years. He trained and specialised in paediatrics in Germany, he also so practice in Austria, the United States of America and Canada as well as the Emirate of Qatar before moving to the UK in 1998 and becoming a British Citizen. Having trained across major teaching hospitals in London he gained his second specialisation in Audiovestibular Medicine in 2004.

Dr Hendricks enjoys his time outdoors with his two daughters. Fortunately they also share a passion for sailing. The family bought an old (1970) wooden Mirror Dinghy “Jemima” to get it back into her best state and sail her in the Lea Valley. Their favourite summer holiday spot are the beaches of the Atlantic ocean of Cornwall and Devon.
