Professional Profile
Simon has been a Consultant in Kent since 1996 after his appointment to Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Following his appointment he specialised exclusively in treatment of knee conditions. Although Simon left the trust in 2016 he continues to provide high quality specialised knee care for both NHS and private patients as an independent knee surgeon.
Simon is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association as well as the South East Knee Study group which meets regularly. Simon is a fully accredited Knee Surgeon who provides second opinions on a regular basis for his colleagues as well as offering high quality patient care. In addition to patient care he regularly provides lectures on knee surgery for general practitioners and allied healthcare professionals.

Simon is well regarded by patients and colleagues and takes the time to explain knee problems in an easy to understand way. He concentrates on listening and understanding patient’s problems in order to make the correct diagnosis and believes that in providing treatment there is a partnership between himself and his patients.
