Professional Profile

I am a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in UK, a position to which I was appointed in November 2016 after completion of fellowship training in upper limb surgery. I sub-specialise in upper limb procedures with extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements and open procedures. Besides elective patients I perform all bone fixation procedures including intramedullary nailing and various plate fixations as well as joint reconstruction surgeries. I also look after sports injuries and perform various sports related operations including ligament reconstructions.

Research Interests

Besides his clinical activities, Mr Sherif Elnikety is passionate about medical education. He holds a postgraduate degree in medical education from University of Bedfordshire and teach medical students and postgraduate doctors. Mr  Elnikety is also active in medical research and holds a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering from UCL. He presented his studies at national and international conferences and published scientific papers in prestigious medical journals.
