Professional Profile

Mr Roy Isworth graduated in Medicine from the Westminster Medical School in 1975. He obtained the FRCS in 1979. Following this he trained as a General Surgeon being appointed as a Consultant ( with an interest in Urology ) in 1987.

 

His last full-time appointment was as Consultant Urological Surgeon at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital , Woolwich. He was appointed Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College London. Mr Isworth has pioneered the use of Laparoscopy in Urology, teaching the technique both in the U.K and widely throughout Europe.

 

Mr Isworth introduced Greenlight Laser Surgery to Woolwich in 2005. He retired from his NHS practice in 2012 but continues his private practice at One Ashford.
