Mr Saunders is a Consultant General Surgeon who is proficient at laparoscopic surgery for hernia repair and bowel conditions including cancer. He has undertaken research into post-operative pain following laparoscopic surgery.

Mr Saunders qualified from University College London in 1993 and was accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1997. He was appointed as a Consultant General Surgeon at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals in 2008. He currently works for The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

 

Mr Michael Saunders lives in Welwyn Garden City with his wife and two children. Proficient at DIY, and avid rugby supporter and coaches junior rugby at a local club.
Keen motorsport enthusiast and drives an electric car.
