Miss Mukhopadhaya undertook specialist training at St Georges Hospital, London and East of England Deanery (Cambridge deanery). She worked at the Bourn Hall Clinic, Cambridge for three years and gained extensive experience in the management of subfertility. At St Georges she trained in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound for two years as a research fellow.

 

In her role as the Clinical Director for Gynaecology at Luton and Dunstable Hospital Miss Mukhopadhaya has been working closely with GP colleagues in the CCG and has a keen focus on Clinical Governance and a high quality and safe patient care.

 

Miss Mukhopadhaya aims to provide a personalised and individually tailored care to all her patients. She passionately believe that all women, and especially those with subfertility and recurrent miscarriages, need a compassionate and approachable clinician who can instill hope and optimism. She provide my patients with the choices and the dignity and respect they deserve.

Miss Mukhopadhaya is married to a Consultant Psycho-geriatrician and has two boys. When not working, she enjoys spending time relaxing with her family. Her personal hobbies are oil-painting and listening to classical oriental music.

Miss Mukhopadhaya has a keen interest in research. She was the Principal Investigator for the PROMISE national trial for recurrent miscarriages and was also was the PI for the ongoing national trial VESPA. She has been published widely in journals, has authored books and book chapters and has done several international conference talks.
