Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
General Gynaecology, including treatment of menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, endometriosis, utero-vaginal prolapse, vulval disorders and menopause.
Special interests include Diagnostic oncology, colposcopy and minimal access surgery.
Hysteroscopy + Transcervical resection of polyp/fibroid, removal of polyps/fibroid with Myosure device, Laparoscopy and treatment of endometriosis, Laparoscopy and removal of ovarian cysts, Laparoscopy and adhesiolysis.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Miss Ahson received her basic training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, Aberdeen University Hospitals. She then moved to the south coast and completed her specialist training in Wessex Deanery, working at Poole, Dorchester and Princess Anne, Southampton University Hospital.
During her training she completed special skills modules in Gynaecological Oncology, Vaginal Surgery, Gynaecology Ultrasound Scanning and Advanced Labour Ward Practice.
Miss Ghadah Ahson was appointed as a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with special interest in Diagnostic Oncology in 2012.
