Dr Suzan Hatipoglu

Professional Profile

After graduating from Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty (English) with honours, Dr Hatipoglu received initial cardiology training at a prestigious Cardiothoracic Centre in Istanbul, Turkey followed by specialist training in cardiac MRI (CMR)/Cardiac CT at Royal Brompton Hospital, London. She is multi skilled in all aspects of general cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging (echocardiography, CMR, cardiac CT and nuclear cardiology), heart failure, cardio-oncology and cardiac amyloidosis. 

Dr Hatipoglu has published extensively in high impact peer reviewed cardiology journals and participated in innovative service developments during her role as a consultant cardiologist in Kettering General Hospital, Royal Free Hospital and East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. She is currently consultant in cardio-oncology at University College London Hospital and consultant in cardiac amyloidosis at National Amyloidosis Centre. In recognition of clinical and academic excellence she was awarded Fellowship of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) and Fellow of Society of CMR (FSCMR).
