Dr Felicity Kaplan is an experienced consultant in endocrinology who specialises in diabetes. Dr Kaplan treats aspects of endocrinology including thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disease, polycystic ovary syndrome, obesity and lipids.

Dr Felicity Kaplan

Consultant Endocrinologist
Dr Felicity Kaplan obtained her MBChB at Groote Schuur Hospital, Cape Town in 1990, followed by a Diploma in Child Health. She went on to specialise in adult General Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrinology. In 2000, Dr Kaplan moved to the UK and spent two further years as a Specialist Registrar at UCLH London before taking up her post at the Lister Hospital.
Dr Felicity Kaplan is interested in all aspects of Endocrinology including thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disease, lipid disorders, obesity, polycystic ovary syndrome and metabolic bone disease/osteoporosis. In addition to Types 1 and 2 diabetes, she manages gestational and adolescent diabetes. Dr Kaplan has close links with the St Bart’s and UCLH Endocrine Units in London as well as the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery.
