Dr Karishma Hemmady

Dr Karishma Dileep Hemmady is a Locum Consultant in Dermatology with comprehensive experience in Clinical Dermatology, Dermato-surgery and Aesthetic Dermatology.

Having trained in dermatology at a busy tertiary hospital in India, she moved to the UK in 2017 to broaden her clinical experience. Her specialisms include the management of Clinical Dermatology patients, Skin cancers, Dermatologic Surgical procedures, Paediatric Dermatology and Genital Dermatology, with a special interest in systemic and biological medications for Inflammatory Dermatoses.

Karishma is enthusiastic about Academic Dermatology and Research. She is a reviewer for three International Dermatology Journals, with publications in peer-reviewed dermatology journals. She is also a principle investigator on biologics (for Leo and Novartis) for Psoriasis and a key opinion leader in establishing clinical trials for Reckitt Benckiser.
